Lake Charlotte is a Minnetonka neighborhood is located in the southwest corner of the city. Lake Charlotte is a larger neighborhood, consisting of around 250 single family homes that range between $260,000 to $570,000. Lake Charlotte is close to several of Minnetonka’s finest amenities, including Spring Hill Park which lies in the neighborhood itself. The nearest shopping and dining amenities can be found at Ridgedale Shopping Center, which lies a few miles to the north along 394 and contains popular stores such as Macy’s, Nordstrom, JCPenney, and Sears.

Residents of Lake Charlotte are served by Independent School District 276 also known as Minnetonka Public Schools. The Minnetonka School District serves 10,400 students in 14 different schools. The closest school to Lake Charlotte is Clear Springs Elementary School. Clear Springs serves around 800 students with a student/teacher ratio of 15. Other nearby schools include Minnetonka High School, Scenic Heights Elementary, and Primrose School of Minnetonka.
